What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) consists of a community of individuals who pledge support to a farm operation so that the farmland becomes, legally or spiritually, the community's farm, with the growers and consumers providing mutual support and sharing the risks and benefits of food production.

How does our CSA membership work?

As a CSA member, you can sign up for our produce box subscription from May to September. As a CSA member, you will receive a weekly box with a sample of the best garden produce available from our farm that week. Over the season, you get to try everything we are growing.

How much produce do I receive weekly?

We estimate that each week, there will be approximately five different types of produce, or approximately 4lb-7lbs, by weight. Some weeks will vary significantly depending on the type of produce. For example, spring salad greens and peas will weigh less than cabbages and melons. The dimensions of the CSA box you will receive weekly are 24” x 16” x 6”. While the amount and types of produce will change weekly, we intend each box to feel generously full of healthy produce.

How do we get our CSA produce box?

Option 1: We will have pre-determined drop-off locations on set days.

Option 2: Farm-Stand Pickup on pre-determined days and times.

Option 3: Home Delivery for an additional Fee.

We are still working out our first season setting pickup dates and locations. We will update you soon.

What kind of produce will be supplied in my CSA membership box?

Expect to have the following in your CSA membership share: Beets, radishes, heirloom tomatoes, strawberries, zucchini, salad greens, arugula, potatoes, sweet peppers (hot peppers if you sign up for them), green beans, melons, fresh herbs, baby watermelons, and so much more! There will be no shortage of variety as we will be growing 60 different types of produce for our CSA boxes, plus another 40 varieties of flowers and herbs in our bee-friendly pollinator garden.

Will I get a refund for some weeks if I don’t like the produce selections?

Unfortunately, the answer is no. We understand that not every veggie can be everyone’s favorite! Some people love radishes, and some don’t. What can we say? Every one of us is unique. A CSA membership model intends to supply its members with fresh seasonal products. This means that occasionally, you may receive something you don’t love in your box. Although we do our best to ensure you will be raving about everything we grow, there will likely be some items that just don’t hit a home run every week.
