We are excited for upcoming Spring Volunteer Days at our Farmington location.
Join our Volunteer Days at our CSA farm in Famington Hills.
This month we will be:
Digging 30 3x30ft garden beds
Preparing beds for plating
Moving wheelbarrows of compost & wood chip for beds and paths
Making compost
Repotting and labeling seedings into 4x4” pots
Planting the garden
What to bring:
Sun protection = hat /dress in layers
Water bottle
Work clothing + shoes
A long or short shevel, if you have one
We will have work extra gloves avaible
Note: if you have any phisical working restriction please let us know so that we can make your experiance as supportive and welcoming as possible. We have a variety of tasks needing to get done and we will find something for you to do that works for you! Everthything is optional. Take care of your needs, take breaks when you need them, and have fun! Let’s get to work!
